Well, there's good news and bad news. The bad news is that I had to cancel my Comic-Con trip because the company where I worked as an editor in, Storm Lion, has shut down and I am, at the moment, officially unemployed. The good news, on the other hand, is that my submission to the Science In My Fiction competition placed second! As a first-time submitter of web fiction, I am naturally thrilled by this. Here is the announcement and the link to the story (the story is subscribers-only though!)
In order to commemorate this (and, in a sense, my status as a newly-self-employed-freelance-writer-until-I-can-find-another-salaried-job), I have started up a Wordpress blog for my fiction and related stuff: misshallelujahwrites.wordpress.com! Nothing much there now, but that is set to change, indeed...
