Based in Singapore, JY Yang latest job saw her editing books & graphic novels with international transmedia company Storm Lion. Prior to that she worked as an in-house writer with the animation studio Peach Blossom Media, writing, editing and managing animation scripts for various markets ranging from early preschool to late teens and beyond.
A former student of the sciences, she spent a year and a half working in a molecular biology research laboratory before finding her calling in the creative industries. In her spare time she writes speculative fiction for web literature, shoots short videos, and composes music.
